In 2019 I received an MFA from Brooklyn College with a focus on drawing. My practice has also included painting, sculpture and performance. I was interested in exploring sexual presentation of the straight male body.
Not all my work was about sexuality. This is a selection of work where I tried to find a way to explore how we interact with space.
Brooklyn College had a strong emphasis on making students work in different disciplines. There was a required course where MFA students collaborated with performance (PIMA) grad students and interdisciplinary artists often led other required courses. Above are some examples of work I did in sculpture and performance. In order: A set where I stripped paint from a painting in a performance, a sculpture, and large paintings I made to have destroyed in a collaborative piece.
