Since 2017 I have done publication design for Sunnyside Shines. Working with the style set by a previous designer, I worked on the layout and design of their ‘services guide’, a sort of brochure of what Sunnyside Shines can provide as a Business Improvement District organization. And working within the style of previous reports I produced three annual reports, changing the copy and photography and reworking the layout and color scheme. I have also worked on invitations, postcards and posters.

In early 2021 I provided some help with the social media posts to Destiny Helpers, a Brownsville, Brooklyn community non-profit. Working with their director, I designed posts celebrating their two-year anniversary and promoting upcoming drives.

From 2017 to 2019 I pursued an MFA at Brooklyn College. While attending I worked as an in-house designer for the graduate students, working on graphics for an open studio in 2018, the thesis catalog publication and cover design, and other flyers as needed.

In 2018 I worked on the annual report for Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership. I designed the cover, illustrated and designed the layout for the report and working off the cover designed an invitation to the annual meeting where the report would be shared.

In 2019 I had a gig at Dead As We Know It where I helped them finish designing a presentation in Google Slides. Working within the color scheme of their client and off a template created by the senior designer I translated infographics from a janky Powerpoint presentation of the data into something visually pleasing and consistent with the brand identity.
